This free Flash clock is first in Special Edition. It is dedicated to London 2012 Olympic Games and design is very symbolic.

First, we have Olympic rings arches in all five colors: blue, black, red, yellow and green. These rings suppose to represent five continents. Symbol is introduced by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, one of the founders of modern Olympic games and first time it appeared at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp, Belgium.

However, there is not particular color for particular continent, that is wrong assumption (at least that's official version of the story). Instead, story goes that every flag of any country in the world has at least one of the Olympic rings colors. So, rings are symbol of unity. If you are interested in reading about Olympic Games Myths, then check this page of Archaeology.

Clock design has few more symbolic details. First, only numbers 12 and 20 are represented because 2012 is the year of London games. Further, seconds hand represents official Olympic torch of London 2012 Games and that's not all! If you take a closer look at hour and minute hands of the clocks, you can see these are hands of Big Ben London Clock - so, it's all about symbols :)

Feel free to put it on your blog, website or mobile device while you wait for the Games to begin!
